Changelog
We've listened to a bunch of feedback we've got and updated the macOS app with new features, bug fixes and UI improvements;
Production steps now auto save, so you don't lose your work
You can hit return in a production step to create a new one, hit "Tab" to enter some notes and "Return" to create a new one. This way you don't need mouse clicks to fully fill the production steps.
We've added the option to add production costs and materials costs per production steps, for materials that are not in the BOM, like assembly paste, cleaners, tape or other materials used during production.
Production steps, production costs and material costs are also represented in the BOM PDF export.
Component cost were already visible, but now it shows also the production costs and the total costs of an assembly or end-item, so you can better decide how your product should be priced.
You can manually change the categories of Parts, Assemblies and End-items. Hit right-click on the workspace to enter the workspace settings, in the tab "Categories" you can add new and remove existing categories.
You can now quickly add a new supplier while adding or chaining an item.
We've modified the workflow of adding a new item, you can now edit each field without leaving your keyboard, with 'Tab' you can walk-through all fields, with 'Return' you make a selection in the dropdown menus, with the arrows you can change the selection and 'Return' approves selection as new choice.
Planned qty's are displayed in inventory overview and linked purchase orders are shown in item detail view, which is part of the Material Planning.
Each workspace had its own settings menu, however it was hidden in the right click, now a gear icon appears in the bottom left to access your workspace settings more easily.
Elaborated tested the export and import via CSV files. It now should all work perfect if you use the format you get when you export a workspace (even a empty workspace).
The iOS app also got updated mainly UI improvements and bug fixes, goal of the iOS remains the same, to help you gain insight on the road/warehouse and to tick off those package slips paperless.
We've updated the macOS app with new features;
Duplicates; now it is possible to create duplicates / make copies of parts, assemblies and end-items. It will create a new part with same name including " Copy" at the end of the name. It will not copy history data, such as price and quantity, as it is a new part that will be tracked
A first version of the material required plan, each order that contains a assembly, now comes with a material required plan. You can easily see which parts and/or sub-assemblies are extra needed to fulfil the order.
We've updated the macOS app with a bug fix:
In some cases a shared workspace manifested twice in a recipient environment and didn't function anywhere properly. This update should fix that bug, however the workspace should be deleted on the recipient end and share link entered again to make it work properly. Contact the owner of the workspace for the share link.
We've also elaborated on the low stock alert in the dashboard view. It now shows more detail on which products may cause problems for your continuity.
From this list view you are able to adjust the part or initiate a purchase order to 'fix' the problem.
We've updated the macOS app with a new feature:
1. A manual import from the Wix e-commerce platform to import orders.
